Bio

Bowen Zhou is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the interplay between human experiences and the built environment. Based in Vancouver, Canada, she holds a B.A. in Sculpture and Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (2022). Through sculptures, interactive installations, paintings, and videos, Zhou investigates the ways in which architectural structures and landscapes shape, influence, and reflect human and cultural interactions. Her works prompt viewers to critically examine the ways in which meanings are created, reconstructed, and transferred through built structures and the power dynamics inherent in the construction of inhabited spaces.
